Film scoring has always been a profound passion of mine. Crafting music that enhances a film's emotional depth and intellectual narrative continues to inspire me. After completing the prestigious post-graduate program at the Film Scoring Academy of Europe as a grantee, I began collaborating with international filmmakers, including award-winning directors Gonçalo Almeida and Guilherme Daniel. My collaboration with Guilherme Daniel on Canto earned the “Best Original Music” award at the Planos Film Festival. Additionally, I was honored with the “Carlos Paredes” Award in 2012 for my work as a composer.
In addition to these recognition, I was a finalist in the Oticons 2023 (Top 20) and the Berlin International Film Scoring Competition 2023, and I received an honorable mention in the European Recording Orchestra's “Call for Scores” 2022. I've also had the privilege of attending master classes with legendary composers such as Howard Shore, Danny Elfman, James Newton Howard, David Newman, and Eric Whitacre.

Thriller/ Horror
Thriller and horror has always been a personal favourite of mine! Developing a thread that enhances the drama, taking the audience from A to B in a tense and visceral way is something that really excites me. Here are some of my cues where you will find traditional instruments blended with electronics, synths and eerie sound effects.
